Watercolor Workshop - Hannah's List

It's simple: please bring only paper that is 100% cotton (preferably Arches 140# cold press). Hannah will also have paper available for purchase at wholesale cost.

As to colors, bring what you like to use. Hannah can give you far better advice once she sees what you actually have and what you actually like. After decades of teaching she's come not to believe in lists of materials. She's found that often students are better supplied than art stores, with a new and different list purchased for every new instructor... only to become confused about how to use all those colors and all those approaches.

For the workshop itself, Hannah will provide palettes, paint, paper, and brushes. If you wish to purchase additional items after your first consultation with her, she'll be happy to point you in the direction of a good, local art supply store and share her list of online sources.
